Be Light Health Coaching was born from a deep sense of being pulled forward to alchemize my personal and professional experiences with my sense of curiosity and adventure.
When I turned 50 I began facing the oncoming middle-aged spread. Out of curiosity I challenged myself to try running, an activity that I had told myself that I hated. Four years and three half-marathons (and many pounds) later, I understand what it’s like to take on a goal that feels out of reach and to push through the “this-sucks-and-I-want-to-give-up” days.
Through an amazing online training community for beginner runners I discovered that I could accomplish what felt like outrageous goals with some support and a bit of structure. I also learned that connecting with others and encouraging them to reach their goals is my passion. With loads of support and zero judgement, I'm here to help you!
I've experienced firsthand that it's possible to make shifts toward healthier living as we age and I want to support you in doing the same.
As your wine and potato chip-loving health coach, I'm a big believer in balance and the 80/20 rule: We do our best AND we are realistic and kind to ourselves in our day-to-day health choices. We're all "perfectly imperfect" and life is supposed to be FUN!
